Biography
Attorney Jean E. Silverio has more than 25 years of experience in the real estate industry with extensive experience in residential and commercial real estate. An attorney since 2017, Jean began her real estate career as a real estate agent representing buyers and sellers in both resales and new construction in Litchfield County and the Farmington Valley. Jean then expanded her real estate expertise during her 17 years as a paralegal, where she worked in residential and commercial real estate, financing, and title claims. Jean concentrates her practice in residential and commercial real estate working with buyers, sellers, lenders, and realtors, and handles all aspects of real estate closings, from initial offers to post-closing concerns, including contract review, drafting and negotiation, title review and resolution. Jean also has experience in foreclosures and has been appointed by the Connecticut Superior Court as committee for foreclosure actions.
A Connecticut native, Jean was born in Winsted, and has lived in Litchfield County and the Farmington Valley areas her entire life, including the towns of Burlington and Farmington. She raised her daughter in New Hartford and Avon, and after 21 years as an Avon resident, Jean has recently moved to Canton, where she resides with her husband Allen.
